De selectie van Astana Qazaqstan Team voor de komende Tour de France is maandag officieel gemaakt: Alexey Lutsenko wil beter doen dan zijn zevende plek van vorig jaar en is dus de kopman.
Vincenzo Nibali (schrapte de Tour) en Miguel Ángel López (heupblessure) zijn er niet bij namens de Kazachen. Gianni Moscon doet wel mee, evenals Simone Velasco, Samuele Battistella en Fabio Felline. Joe Dombrowski is ook van de partij, terwijl Dmitriy Gruzdev en Andrey Zeits de ploeg compleet maken.
